Hi, I’m Elle James, Delilah Devlin’s little sister. Ha! I’m three inches taller. She was the short one in the family. But she isn’t short on talent! Love her to the moon and back, and I respect her ability as an author, artist, and musician.

I was born into a military family. My father served in the US Air Force for 20 years. His service meant his family got to live in exotic places like Spokane, Washington, various bases in California, Abilene, Texas, and Glasgow, Montana (go look it up…not the mountainous beauty of western Montana). While he spent time all over the world, my mother was a single parent raising four hellions. Yeah. We weren’t the easiest of kids. But we survived into adulthood. Yay us!

My military roots lived on in my sister, brother, my two daughters, and son-in-law. I spent 11 years in the Army Reserves and 9 in the Air Force Reserves. I’m proud of my family’s service, and my heart is with all those who are serving and have served. You might see that in the military heroes I write about.

I earned a couple of Bachelor’s degrees, one of which was in Information Systems, sending me into the field of IT where I was a programmer, project manager, and I managed IT professionals before my sister, Delilah, convinced me that we needed to write books. As we babysat computer systems through Y2K, we vowed to become published authors. Twenty-three years later, here we are, multi-published with well over 200 stories to our individual writing credits.

Being a writer has opened a fabulous world to me. One in which I now have connections all over this big ol’ world of ours. I love this so much! I have friends in Australia, translators in Italy, France and Germany, readers in Malaysia, Iceland, South Africa, Britain, Canada, Argentina, Europe, US and…well, all over the world. Life doesn’t get any better than this.

I love writing stories that keep my readers engaged to the very end and ready for the next book. I try really hard to produce a book each month to feed my readers’ habits of consuming action-packed romances.
