When I posted this pic yesterday on social media, I got asked about the snake. It’s made of iron, and I use it as a paperweight. I bought it at the county fair from a local blacksmith because 1) I support local craftsmen, and 2) I like snakes…

No one mentioned the polished cephalopod fossil on the left, but maybe that’s because everyone has one…?
