Pleased to meet you!

Pleased to meet you!

Hi all!

I just wanted to take this opportunity to say hello and tell you a little about myself, my writing, and Rescue Me, the sizzling story I contributed to the Smokin’ Hot Firemen collection.

Smokin Hot Firemen

I’m Maggie Wells, and I am terribly excited to be a part of this anthology!  Hanging out with a big group of fellow authors and getting to meet new readers is great fun for me. You see, I’m buried in spreadsheets all day—boring! That’s why I like to write stories of people tearing up the sheets when I get home at night. I live with a hubby who is my hero, a couple of mostly-grown kids, and a house rabbit that is the love of my life.  I’m addicted to Steak ‘N Shake steakburgers, Route 44 Diet Cokes from the Sonic Drive-In, and cookies. Any kind of cookie.

My first novella, Seducing Steve, is a friends-to-lovers story that was released in 2011 by Turquoise Morning Press. I’ve also written a few Dirty Bits short stories for TMP including the titles: Spectators, Missed Connection, and Happy Endings.

2012 was a crazy-busy writing year for me, and that means I have a total of 19 stories releasing in this calendar year, so charge up your e-readers!

When I’m not flashing sexy firefighters, you can find me spinning love stories in a small Missouri town in the Hot Nights in St. Blaise series. These twelve sensual novellas from Turquoise Morning Press revolve around a regional medical center’s fundraising calendar and will be releasing throughout 2013.

I’ve also joined forces with Ginny Glass, Emily Cale and Christina Thacher to create the Love Letters anthologies, a series of short stories that spell sensuality by covering the alphabet from A-Z. Each volume features a different theme, so be sure to look for Love Letters Volumes 1-6 from Carina Press.

But what about this story? Well, I can tell you, I had a ton of fun writing Rescue Me. I can’t say anything more right now because I’m saving that scoop for next month’s post, but I will share this tasty teaser with you:

When a hot firefighter breaks down the wrong door, a smart woman drops her towel.

It’s great to be here, and I’ll see you next month with more of Rescue Me!
