*~*~*
We’re celebrating Canada Day here in Ontario. I’m not sure how many of the authors in the Secret Identities: A Boys Behaving Badly Anthology are fellow Canucks, but I was born and raised in a small town here in Canada.
A little bit about me…
- I’ll be turning thirty-seven this autumn.
- I’ve got two little girls.
- We’re a homeschooling family that has elected to currently explore alternative education options outside the traditional schooling system.
- We have a cat named Darcy, and a few weeks ago, we adopted a new little kitten. Originally, he was believed to be a girl, and the kids named him Gracie before we got a confirmation. But he’s a boy and his name will stay Gracie. As long as he’s loved, played with, and cuddled, I’m sure he doesn’t care too much what his name is.
- I went to school to be a teacher, and after a bit of time teaching in private schools and subbing for the public school board, I’ve decided it’s not the right career for me, at least not right now. After having my babies, I opted not to return after my maternity leave. I always wanted to write, and I’ll be using the next few years to see if I can turn it into a career that actually helps pay the bills.
About my career path:
I was first published in 2016 with a “warm and fuzzy erotic romance” titled My Mistletoe Master. I’m in the process of re-releasing my first 15 or so novels/novellas/short stories. The Unexpected Changes series (5 novella/novel length stories with spice and heart) have all been re-released in the last 6 months.
In 2022, I self-published for the first time. It was a story called Love Spells, Full Moons, and Silver Bullets, which is a romantasy story about a man from our world who is suffering from PTSD and depression and ends up falling through a portal into another world, where he meets all kinds of creatures. I called this series the Clayridge Chronicles, and my Secret Identities story takes place in this fictional world.
I also have a PNR wolf-shifter-fated-mates series on the go. (Yes, I know, I’ve got too many series going. I’m the author that likes to chase the shiny new ideas.)
If you would like to try a few of my books, you can download My Mistletoe Master for FREE, and Drew (PNR wolf shifter) for FREE as well.
About Clayridge…
Claimed by her Naga Bodyguard is my contribution to this wonderful anthology. It takes place in another realm, focusing heavily on a city called Clayridge.
This realm has all kinds of creatures, including, but not limited to: witches, werewolves, vampires, demons, fairies, elves, trolls, orcs, gargoyles, dragons and now introducing Nagas.
I’m excited for you to meet Kaa and Olivia.
When I saw Delilah’s call for stories with a secret identity theme I couldn’t resist, and in creating this story I’ve opened up the Clayridge world to even more stories.
About Nagas…
One of the things I love about Clayridge, is that I do a bit of research about a mythical creature and then I put my own spin on it. For example, leprechauns. They are traditionally from Irish folklore and are represented as goblins or fairies who guard treasure. I spun that a bit for Clayridge. The leprechauns living in Clayridge have magical appearances. They can be attractive, or grotesque depending on how greedy their behavior has been. If their actions are greedy and selfish, they look rather monstruous, but if they’ve been kind and sharing their wealth, they could star in their own romance novel.
So, in “Claimed by her Naga Bodyguard” you can likely guess what kind of creatures I’ve recently researched and added to the world.
Here’s a bit about Nagas (taken from the Britannica website):
Naga, in Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainishm, a member of a class of mythical semidivine beings, half human and half cobra. They are a strong, handsome species who can assume either wholly human or wholly serpentine form and are potentially dangerous but often beneficial to humans.
You’ll have to read “Claimed by her Naga Bodyguard” to find out how I’ve adapted this creature to fit into the Clayridge universe.

Read, bear, wolf, abd dragon shifters so far.
I tend to stick with the classics like wolves or big cats. Occasionally I will expand into other types of shifters. I’ve never read anything with a naga.
I like them all but dragons are my kryptonite.
Congratulations to everyone who commented! You are all winners! Cameron will be contacting you shortly!
